On January 30, CALSTART convened representatives of multiple agencies (including state agencies, air districts and utilities), for the third Funders Forum event, supporting the exchange of information and best practices for vehicle and infrastructure incentives. The event was held at at South Coast Air Quality Management District headquarters in Diamond Bar, CA. Representatives discussed issues around early coordination, utility funds, a need for medium-and heavy-duty roadmap, and having clear visibility of funds and timelines. Attendees expressed that these ongoing forums are beneficial to make a transformational change in the medium-and heavy-duty transportation sector.
