FUNDING DEFINITIONS

About HVIP's Multiple Funding Sources

Funding for Year 3 of the HVIP is provided by The California Air Resources Board (ARB). The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Controld District has funded the SJVAPCD HVIP Plus-up Project, which adds voucher funds of up to $30,000 on top of existing ARB HVIP vouchers.  Additional sources may contribute to the funds in the future.

When a funding pot reaches zero or less, you will see a minus sign in front of the amount. For example, FY12 ARB -$275,598 means that the Fiscal Year 2012 ARB Fund  (Year 3 of the HVIP) is $275,598 under zero. However, as long as voucher requests are being accepted, vouchers may still be available. A first-come, first-served wait list will be made available for Dealers requesting vouchers.

Please note that vouchers requested from various funding sources may have specific requirements. Please carefully read the Terms and Conditions for voucher request and redemption, or refer to the Year 3 HVIP Implementation Manual or the 2011 HVIP Implementation Manual. If you have additional questions, please read the Frequently Asked Questions section of this site, or call 888-457-HVIP.
